Vote for Issue 51 to protect the programs and student and family support that make our schools strong. Issue 51 is near the end of your ballot!

  • Provide mental health and other support to help our students succeed.

  • Strengthen math and literacy programs.

  • Improve safety and security in all facilities, including secure windows, doors, additional cameras, etc.

  • Expand career readiness programs in health care, construction, trades, engineering, and other high-demand fields. Currently, over 100 Mayfield students are turned away from EXCEL TECC every year, due to the program reaching capacity.

  • Ensure our earliest learners have support and programs to start their educational careers on the right foot

  • Stabilize funding for at least 4 more years. 

ISSUE 51 WILL:

Issue 51 is a 5 mill operating issue that will be used for day-to-day operating expenses such as teacher and support staff, learning tools and educational equipment, utilities and fuel and other items that are necessary to the function of teaching and learning. This issue is estimated to add $14.58 per month per $100,000 home value, based on the 2023 property values- NOT the new reappraisal.
